This article is all about how US and EU counterterrorism foreign policy went so horribly wrong. It explains how jihadist terrorism has succeeded in overrunning Europe and in attacking the US. It’s particularly important for Americans to read this article, because it cites news stories from reputable sources that have had some exposure in Europe, but haven’t made it into the US media.

For the past eight years, I’ve been in a lonely place politically. I don’t mean the kind of lonely that conservatives generally find themselves in. I’m talking about utter desolation, for there are just as few conservatives as liberals where I’ve been. One of the only non-Serbian Americans to do so, I watched with steady interest for the better part of a decade the clockwork predictability of the fallout from our forgotten Kosovo intervention, a bombing campaign against an emerging post-Communist democracy rooted in Judeo-Christian values–on behalf of tribalistic, blood-code-following nominal Muslims claiming oppression and no less than genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Imam Al Zawahiri becomes a man

Well Al?  Are you going to come out?  Walk your talk?  Or are you just, as you say, a woman with a mustache?

What happens when Al Zawahiri’s eye glass prescription needs updating?

 

As you can see by this picture this guy wears spectacles.  Now if you wear glasses or know anyone that does, you probably know that often eyesight changes and your prescription needs updating so you can get a new pair.  This usually requires a visit to the optometrist.  In Al Zawahiri’s case this may mean that his optometrist or at least someone qualified enough will visit him.

It is my belief that this could create a week point in the security of Al Queda.  So why can authorities not pay a visit to a number of Optometrists and try to trace this guy down?  And for that matter, do we have any film experts looking at the videos these guys produce?  Can one tell from a video what kind of film or technology was used in it’s creation?  If you can then maybe you could trace the sale of equipment.

 What kind of clothes is this guy wearing?  Where did he get them?  Did one of his wives make them?  Are you telling me that Al Queda has a safe place in Pakistan where they have a video production studio and who knows what other amenities that goes completely unnoticed by satellite?  I say impossible.  We are not doing what we could be doing to catch these people and I demand that we start now.  George Bush is doing the same thing Clinton did about Bin Laden.  He’s basically saying “Aww no thanks I’ll pass”.  Well you don’t get a pass.  I’ll just go ahead and conduct my own investigation and god help Al Queda when we find them.

Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, the number two leader in al-Qaeda, speaks in regard to Britain’s conferring knighthood upon Salman Rushdie, and fighting in Lebanon and Palestine in a 20:44 minute audio speech produced by as-Sahab, the multimedia wing of al-Qaeda, and titled, “Malicious Britain and its Indian Slaves”. The video was issued to jihadist forums today, Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Only an image of Zawahiri is shown, a duplicate used in a previous Sahab release from June 2007, “Forty Years Since the Fall of al-Quds [Jerusalem]”, with his voice playing as an audio track. The title of the speech refers to Britain and what is considered to be an insult to Islam and Muslims in honoring Rushdie, an Indian novelist who wrote The Satanic Verses and who was sentenced to death in 1989 after its publication by a fatwa from Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini for blasphemy against Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.
